Bahrain Film Festival
 BHRIFF is organized every year from 1st to 4th May in celebration of the Labour Day and the International Day for Press Freedom. The first term of the festival is beginning in the year of celebrating the 60th anniversary of UN Universal Declaration of Human Rights, the 60th year of Israel-Palestine Conflict and the 60th year of assassination of Mahatma Gandhi, the Indian pioneer of non violence philosophy.
 The This year the festival selected Mahatma Gandhi as a slogan in order to focus on his theory and the humanity needs for his principles in our era.
The first term of the festival is in the year of celebrating the 60th anniversary of UN Universal Declaration of Human Rights, the 60th year of Israel-Palestine Conflict and the 60th year of assassination of Mahatma Gandhi.
